From 1988 to 2005 professional economist-regional planner, qualified professional (until 10/2007) for Regional Planning-Master Plans (Rank B) and Economic Studies (Rank C) by the Hellenic Ministry for the Environment Physical Planning and Public Works (YPEXODE).
From 1993 to 2010 main researcher in the Spatial Development Research Unit (SDRU) at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning and Development, School Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh).
Elected (2003, tenure 2007) Lecturer at the Department of Geomatics and Surveying of the Technological Educational Institution (TEI) of Serres, specialized in “Regional Planning and the use of Geographic Information Systems in Regional Planning”.
